Eggerland - Departure to Creation (エッガーランド 創造への旅立ち Eggerland - Souzou e no Tabidachi ) is a puzzle game that is part of the Eggerland series. It was released for the Famicom Disk System in 1988 in Japan.
The game contains 50 stages (or maps) and progresses in a linear fashion (unlike previous titles, such as Eggerland 2 and Eggerland – Revival of the Labyrinth). In addition to the actual game, Eggerland- Departure to Creation contains a "construction Mode" that allows players to create their own custom maps (hence the game's title)[1]
The game has been viewed as too easy by Eggerland series fans in Japan, because it contains only 50 maps many of which are copies from the original Eggerland Mystery maps. However, the "Construction Mode" tends to make up for the brief game in the end[2]
